Frequently Asked Questions
-
Whole Women’s Care is a direct-pay practice and does not bill insurance directly. Payment is due at the time of service. This model allows us to keep visits longer, more thorough, and entirely focused on you — without the constraints of insurance-driven care. We accept all major credit and debit cards, as well as HSA and FSA cards directly. Upon request, a superbill can be provided for you to submit to your insurance carrier for possible reimbursement or to apply toward your deductible. Patients with high-deductible health plans may find that visits can be counted toward their annual deductible — we recommend confirming the details with your specific insurance provider.
-
Yes. We accept HSA and FSA cards directly at the time of service. Medical visits with a licensed physician are generally an eligible expense — no special paperwork required.
-
Possibly, depending on your plan. Patients with high-deductible health plans may be able to apply out-of-network visits toward their annual deductible. We can provide a superbill upon request to submit to your carrier. We recommend checking with your insurance provider to confirm what applies under your specific plan.
-
Yes. When possible, laboratory testing and imaging are ordered in a way that allows you to use your insurance benefits. We also work with local labs that offer transparent self-pay pricing for patients who prefer that option or do not have coverage.
-
Concierge practices typically charge an annual membership fee in addition to visit fees. At Whole Women’s Care, you pay per visit or per care pathway — there is no required annual membership. A limited membership option is available for patients seeking ongoing access and continuity, but it is never required.
-
Your initial consultation is 60 minutes and is designed to be genuinely comprehensive. We will take time to review your full health history, current symptoms, and personal goals — not just your reason for visiting today. Together we will begin building a care plan that reflects your whole picture of health. Most patients find it helpful to come prepared with a list of current medications, any recent lab work, and the questions they most want answered.
-
Every visit includes dedicated, unhurried time with Dr. Casiano — not a nurse practitioner or physician assistant. Visits include a thorough review of your history, symptoms, and goals, along with development or adjustment of your personalized care plan. There are no time limits that cut conversations short.
-
If you are coming in for a specific concern or annual exam, an individual visit is a great starting point. Care pathways are designed for patients who want a more structured, ongoing approach to a specific area — such as hormonal health, menopause management, or metabolic wellness. If you are unsure, start with an initial consultation and Dr. Casiano will help you determine the best path forward based on your needs and goals.
-
Our practice is designed to provide thorough, complete care during your scheduled visits so that most questions and concerns can be addressed in that time. For follow-up needs that arise between visits, our team can be reached by phone or email during office hours. Additional visits or virtual check-ins can also be scheduled as needed.
-
Yes. Select visit types are available virtually for patients who prefer the convenience of a video or phone appointment. Virtual visits are available for follow-up care, medication management, and certain consultations. An in-person visit is required to establish care before telehealth visits can be scheduled.
-
Yes, select in-office gynecologic procedures are available, including IUD insertion and removal, endometrial biopsy, and colposcopy. Procedure availability and fees can be discussed based on your individual clinical needs. Please contact the office for specific questions.
-
Yes. Metabolic health and weight management are core services at Whole Women’s Care, approached clinically and individually — not with one-size-fits-all programs. Dr. Casiano is a Diplomate of the American Board of Obesity Medicine (DABOM), bringing specialized training to this area. As part of your metabolic evaluation, we offer InBody 580 body composition analysis — a comprehensive measurement of muscle mass, body fat, visceral fat, and metabolic rate that goes far beyond what a scale can tell you. Structured care pathways are available for patients seeking ongoing support.
-
Yes — this is one of Dr. Casiano’s core areas of focus. She is a Menopause Society Certified Practitioner (MSCP), meaning she has advanced, specialized training in the evaluation and management of perimenopause and menopause. Structured care pathways are available for patients navigating this transition who want ongoing, personalized support.
-
Whole Women’s Care sees adult women across all life stages — from young adults seeking preventive care and contraception management through perimenopause, menopause, and beyond.
-
Our office is located in Marietta, Georgia, and we serve patients throughout the greater Atlanta area. Virtual visits are also available, allowing patients across Georgia to access care remotely.
-
We reserve each appointment specifically for you, and we ask that you extend the same thoughtfulness to other patients who may be waiting for care. If you need to cancel or reschedule, we kindly ask for at least 48 hours’ notice. This allows us to offer your appointment time to another patient. Cancellations made with less than 48 hours’ notice are welcome without penalty — life happens and we understand. However, missed appointments without any notice (no-shows) will incur a $50 fee. To cancel or reschedule, please contact us by phone at (770) 282-4939 or by email at info@wholewomenscare.com.

Appointments can be scheduled online through our patient portal or by contacting our office directly. We look forward to welcoming you.
